 Great Robe January 6, 2009
I purchased this robe for my wife and she loves it. It is very thick and heavy and seems well constructed. Though it's one sized, it's large enough for my larger-sized wife. As some reviewers noted, for a smaller person, they would be swimming in this robe. Great robe for the price.

This product claims that one size fits most, even has a photo of a guy wearing one, but they lie. I'm average height for a male, only 5'10", but it barely hangs to my knees. The belt sits in the the middle of my chest. Thankfully my wife is 5'1" and it fits fine for her, warm and comfortable as advertised, but it's far to short for anyone over about 5'5" or so. I wish they'd said that before I ordered the thing... sigh. A nice, well made product, but for petite women and children only. Off to search for a new robe for me...

Robe arrived in less than a week. Packaged VERY nice-perfect for a gift. Robe is BIG AND ROOMY like it is supposed to be and well over my knees and I am 5'7" tall. (These robes are supposed to be big and roomy for they are spa robes. ) It arrived today and I have it on now-YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROBE. Always wash in COLD water and NEVER dry in the dryer, unless you want them to shrink. Robe is thick like a spa robe and really pretty, better than what I found in dept. stores. I LOVE IT and you will too, but remember: These robes are supposed to be big and roomy. They are not made to fit tight and close to the body. Short people can enjoy these too, but the length will be longer and the overall size will fit bigger-still nice. YES, I would order again. Price is right for this robe-enjoy for the feel is nice, warm and cozy, plus it appears that it is well made!

I was looking for a robe that was warm and soft, and dried me off when I got out of the shower. Typically if you want soft and warm you get fleece (which doesn't dry you off), and if you want to be dried off you get terrycloth (which is never soft). This is luckily all three! My only complaint is that it's so heavy and oversized that I can't really do anything around the house in it, like make breakfast or even brush my teeth (it really is that bulky). It's perfect for lounging and being warm and comfortable on a lazy sunday though.
