This set of four balloon wine glasses is made of fine crystal by Lenox. The glasses are 8-3/4-inches tall and hold up to 10 ounces of your favorite cabernet, chardonnay, or merlot, guaranteed to bring a frantic holiday pace to a more relaxing speed. Each rests on a large and sturdy clear crystal base that rises to a long, narrow stem. Atop the stem sits a rich, emerald green reservoir that's just the thing for setting the table during the Christmas holidays or even on St. Patrick's day for those not inclined toward green beer who still want to show their Irish. The glass's holding reservoir is more than wide enough to allow the wine proper breathing. Pair these glasses with other glassware from Lenox's Holiday Gems Emerald collection (including all purpose glasses, champagne flutes, and martini glasses) to set an all-green table, or mix-and-match with the Lenox Crystal Holiday Gems Ruby collection (featuring wine balloons, champagne flutes, and martini glasses) for a vibrant mix of red and green.  Gorgeous glasses January 2, 2008
These are absolutely beautiful glasses. They're not just for Christmas. They don't come in a box that's all decorated for Christmas so if you love green, I highly recommend these glasses. The "balloon" isn't too big, sometimes you feel like you're drinking an entire bottle of wine because the glasses that are in style now are huge.

Two of the glasses were broken when I opened up the box. Overall the glasses were beautiful.
