Product Description The Waring Professional Ice Crusher is just the appliance for the home bar or anywhere you entertain. It can hold up to 12-cups of ice and crush up to 30 lbs of ice per hour. It features a brushed stainless steel housing, ice chute attachment and sharp stainless steel blades worthy of commercial use. Sits easily on a countertop or bar without taking up a large space.

Ours failed at 13 months October 30, 2008 The product works, although if you feed it regular size ice cubes from a tray it tends to jam, we learned not to fill up the ice trays to the top.
Our unit failed at 13 months, one of the blades started slipping and would get jammed with the ice. I tried to find replacement parts on the Internet, but could not find a source and I suspect that even if I was able to find the replacement blade assembly it would be cost prohibitive.
Overall I could not recommend this product as I believe that one year's use for $80.00 is not worth it.
The best ice crusher I have ever bought: July 21, 2008 Waring IC70 Brushed Stainless Steel Professional Ice Crusher 12-c.This was the wises buy I have ever made as far as a ice crusher. It is quite,no vibration, and makes the perfect crushed ice for all my beverages. (I LOVE IT)!Thanks for making this wonderful product.
Does a fine job July 10, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I wanted crushed ice with decent-size pieces that would not melt fast. I use the ice for mixed drinks and water drinks after sports activity. The Waring gives me that. Surprisingly, the machine is not loud -- though it's not whisper-quiet either -- and it works fast. Sometimes the ice cube holder has to be shaken to dislodge a logjam, but it's a negligible problem. I think it depends on the shape of your ice cubes. half circles from an automated Kitchenaid fridge pose no problem. All in all, I am very satisfied after owning the machine for one month. I would give the Waring a 5 if the ice cubes never got stuck, but I doubt it's possible in a relatively inexpensive machine.
Just what I was looking for, worth the price! April 4, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My dad loves crushed ice. He likes it crushed into bigger chunks than most crushers produce. He's tried a lot of different crushers in the past, and most would fall apart quickly.
I got this for a birthday gift for him, and he loves it! It is not very loud for being an ice crusher, is very easy to clean up after use, and seems to be very solid. We are expecting it to last quite a while, even with his daily use.
It does produce bigger chunks than the other crushers, which is exactly what he was looking for. Some people may not like this. We haven't tried running the crushed ice through the crusher again, but that might work.
One problem he had is that the ice cubes get stuck in the feeder chute if he puts in too many at once. He just puts them in a handful at a time to get around that.
The crusher is fairly fast, so he really doesn't have to stand around very long feeding the thing.
Great for juices February 15, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The only thing I think this item need is a cover to close the crusher when its not in use
