Disorganized July 28, 2008 This book had good basic techniques and tells you what tools you will need to get started scrapbooking, but it was poorly organized. Sometimes a page being discussed has a facing page which is pictured elsewhere in the book - I would have liked to see them together. When it gets into more advanced techniques, the instructions get less detailed, and are not always next to the page they are talking about, making it confusing. It's basically an idea book, but the ideas are pretty basic.
Makes a great idea book, but a little out of date May 1, 2003 18 out of 19 found this review helpful
As a beginning scrapbooker I found this book great for getting page ideas, but other than that it was a little hard to follow technique. Every technique referenced back to other pages so I found myself flipping pages to try and follow the techniques. The book was a little out of date, with so many new products being developed since this book. All in all, it was great for ideas and did offer a lot of basic information for the first time scrapbooker.
