As Nerf technology has improved over the years, the lightweight and people-friendly material has been made to do ever more impressive feats. What started as a simple spongy ball with which to shoot hoops indoors without the fear of shattered lamps and irate family members has evolved into today's Nerf Dart Tag. In each kit are two weapons, each equipped with ten suction darts, along with two vests and two pairs of goggles. The vests are marked with different point values based on where the dart lands. Hasbro Nerf Dart Tag - 2 Player Set Grandsons ages 7 and 9 are very happy with their birthday present. Been shooting each other and love the velcro vest that comes with the item because the darts stick and they can count who made the most hits.
The joy of nerf January 22, 2008
My boys wanted guns for christmas because my teenage brother wanted guns for christmas. Seeing as how my sons are more than 10 years my brothers' junior, I was not in the mood to compete with browning. After the recommendation of a friend from work, I checked these out and am I glad I did! For two hours CHristmas morning, my boys chased my brothers around the house, shooting eachother, gathering ammo, and shooting again. The targets on the vests made it even more adventurous and I dare say the 18 year old had as much fun as the 6 year old. Safe, inventive, so much fun, I recommend this toy for anyone who loves to shoot guns.
Great source of fun for boys of all different ages January 13, 2008
I got this toy because my 11 yr. old was constantly asking me for a nerf gun. I admit I was skeptical of the durability of a plastic toy gun and wasn't sure if it was worth the $[...] to just throw away after a week of fun. But I was nicely surprised to see my 11 year old and 13 year old boys have so much fun. Even the dad joins in on their fun. The guns shoot pretty far and the target vest definitely add to the fun. I would recommend this toy to any parent who is okay with letting their boys play with plastic guns.

We gave this to my 10 year old son for Christmas and he and ALL kids up to age 65 loved playing with it. I knew he would have fun with it but I was amazed that his older cousins (ages 25 & 27) and uncles enjoyed them as much. Just be sure and wear the glasses provided (or your own) because the aim of the gun is really off and the darts will hit you in the face before you realize it!

25-30 feet. Toy comes with safety
goggles and vest. Fun time!!
