I bought this edition this summer when my sister came for her annual visit--except this time it had been three years since we had seen her. Of course, we had to play Trivial Pursuit. My 10-year-old niece loves participating with adults, so the levels of difficulty were a really nice feature. One thing we all decided before beginning was to eliminate the "mean" stuff--taking wedges, making people lose places. We are all too competitive to allow for those actions. My sister-in-law will not sit down at the table to play (thinks she is "dumb"), but stood off to the side and kind of on her husband's (my brother) side. She was thrilled when she could answer questions. So it is not what you know, but if you get a question that you know (if that makes sense).
Other than the part we eliminated, the game is so much fun. We vowed to keep up playing throughout the year.

It was enjoyable having the different levels of difficulty in the questions.
Made it less frustrating getting the 1s and being able to answer easier questions...
