A whole generation of Americans grew up with the Osmond family, an exceptionally musical family of six brothers and one sister that has enjoyed success in the music industry for over 50 years. In this live reunion concert, dubbed "a celebration of looking back," Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay, Donny, Marie, and Jimmy Osmond perform some of their most popular hits onstage at The Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas. The siblings sing in varying performing configurations including the five original Osmond Brothers, the seven Osmonds, and the duo Donny and Marie.  Fantastic for Osmond Fans October 6, 2008
I am an admitted Osmond fan, and as a reporter, I have met every member of the Osmond family. So it was wonderful to get to "visit" with them on the 2-disc DVD. I do believe these DVD's give a good representation of the family, their talent, their genuine close-knit family ties. I like the variety of the different combinations of performances. I appreciated that we got to see the non-performing brothers, Virl and Tom, who happen to be my favorite Osmonds. What more can I say than: watching the Osmond 50th Anniversary DVD's made me happy?!

The video is jam packed with singing and interview. I thoroughly enjoyed watching both c.d's, but I wonder why the packaging shown is blue and the one that I received is yellow, is there a difference in content?

Owning this DVD as a keepsake after watching their concert in Singapore makes my experience of the Osmonds, and Donny and Marie complete. You should have watched Donny singing The Twelfth of Never to the First Lady of Singapore with everyone singing along! Awesome... and watching Marie downing 2 bottles of water on stage in record time! way to go Marie!
