"Gay Getaways: Las Vegas"
Ariztical's Travel Series
Amos Lassen Gay travel is big business and now we have DVD travel guides to the hotspots. Village Lighthouse has the "Bump" series and Ariztical has "Gay Getaways", the latest of which is devoted to Las Vegas. Travel host Greg Osborne takes us to the city of neon lights and shows us the best places to eat, sleep and party. Las Vegas is "Sin City" so they say. Osborne starts us off at the wonderfully palatial Blue Moon Resort which is located just off of the famous strip. We spend two days in Vegas with Osborne eating at the best restaurants like Suede, hitting the nightclubs such as Piranha, visiting book stores, fashion destinations and cafes. On the third day, "Babs" joins Osborne and we head out to the Lake Mead recreational facilities and Hoover Dam. This isn't just Vegas--it is gay Vegas seen in a way that many of us cannot do. The film just makes it all look very easy.
