This little thing is very cool. I thought the price was very reasonable, it has alot of power and looks pretty cool.

This 4" plasma ball is bright and energetic. It's much better than the 8" plasma sphere that I also purchased, which is barely visible in normal room lighting.

Great little eduction tool to help educate kids. Could be a little more competitive, price or production wise, compared to others I came across later.

Probably the BEST desk toy you can get. Runs on 4 AA's or 6v adaptor. I suggest you get the adaptor. When the batteries run low, it will just glow purple and blue. Cool effect, but not as much fun.
I had a full size one since about 1986 but put it away a long time ago for space. This little one is perfect for any place. Looks sharp and is a great conversation starter.
As long as kids understand it is made of glass, and are old enough to handle it, it can occupy them for hours.
Great for scale models, special effects, parties, etc. The current is low enough to make it very safe for most people. If you ever wanted one, just get it. It is great fun.

The plasma storm works as described and the staff at American Science & Surplus are wonderful to deal with. For such a great price, you can't get any better!
