Came Broken December 26, 2007 Product didn't work on arrival and I still haven't gotten the replacement. Light didn't go on; lava didn't move.

Got it in a delayed delivery, worked fine the first day, clouded up the next day, and just layed at the bottom of the glass and did nothing for the other times I tried bringing it back to life. I threw it away. Don't waste your money.
nice while it worked March 27, 2007 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I really enjoyed this lamp for about 2 weeks. then it began to take longer to start erupting; when it did, it bubbled for shorter periods, then finally the wax would lay at the bottom barely moving, Even the Blob in that old movie had more life. To the company's credit, they sent me a replacement unit. This one lasted about the same length of time - worked fairly well for about 2 weeks. Now I have another Blob. I am really disappointed. I really want one of these, but I don't want to have to get a new one every few weeks. Maybe I should try another color? Perhaps the red wax was from a defective batch?
Icon Of The 70's July 27, 2006 5 out of 10 found this review helpful
Who does not love a lava lamp? For those of us who lived the revolution of the 70's, it definitely has to do with rock and pop music, with fashion trends and decoration of that time. Music clubs and stores had them in display all the time, and they contributed enormously to create the atmosphere we very much feel nostalgic about today. Kids love them as well. The movement and the colours of the of the lava fascinates them. And for those who just saw them for the first time, it also makes a great decoration and conversation piece.
