This is a very low quality item that is Made in China. The cordless concept is good, but the quality of the materials is terrible- cheap, lightweight plastic. The parts I received don't fit seamlessly together, causing the lamp to tilt to the side a la Leaning Tower of Pisa. This unit should only cost about $10 max, and it should be sold in 99 cent stores. I got fooled on this one folks.

I found that unless the light was directly over the reading material, this product did not give off enough light to be able to read.
I was very disapointed, and would not recommend the product. It is very light weight, and easily moved around, but of little use for providing lumination.

The light could be just a little brighter but was adquate. I might have given four stars but the delivery time on this item was poor and the product was only forthcoming after I mentioned that I might cancel the order and get a more timely delivery from ebay.
