 Good deal for the price November 17, 2008
I felt the cookbook stand was nice for the money. My only complaint would be that the stained wood part is not as smooth and nice as I would have hoped. The scrollwork is nice. And the cookbook hides most of the wood section. A decent item for the money.

A very attractive yet functional addition to my kitchen. This would make a good gift for anyone who cooks from cookbooks. Exhibiting recipes with colorful photographs adds interest to our kitchen decor and we change the recipes from time to time for variety. The wood on stand is darker than I had expected, but is mostly covered by the cookbook we leave out. The decorative scrollwork would go with any colors.

I got this for my mom on Mother's Day. She likes it, so I like it too. A solid piece of furniture, and a good deal.
