It is difficult to throw a tea party for one's best dolls and favorite stuffed animals when the preschool-aged host can't reach the kitchen table to serve cookies and pour tea. To accommodate the younger and smaller set, Lipper International offers this table and chair set. The child-sized set consists of a square table and two chairs. The chairs' 10-3/4-inch seat height enables children to crawl up and settle in with ease. The set is suitable for use in the bedroom, playroom, or kitchen. Made in Thailand, the table and chairs feature beech wood construction for durability throughout one's childhood and beyond. The chairs' vertical spindle backs ensure sturdy leaning support, while the tabletop simplifies cleaning woes with its scratch resistant surface. For a playful feel, non-toxic paint in contrasting hues coat the beech wood. Color combinations available include blue and white, green and white, and pink and white. To clean the set, wipe pieces down with a soft damp cloth and dry immediately to hinder water damage on the wood. Use a mild soap on marks and stains. Markers may stain, so Lipper International recommends avoiding such art implements in favor of crayons or washable paints at the table set. The set best befits indoor use.  Poor January 6, 2009
I ordered the Table on Dec 2nd. It said it was shipped on Dec 6th and I should recieve it on Dec 8th - Dec 11th. Called on Dec 22nd. Never could get through to customer service. Had to dial direct number spent 1 hr 20 min waiting to talk to someone. I did reach a very nice person, she ran a trace on the product. It came on Dec 29th, I was damaged beyond repair. Called on Dec 3th. Spent 1hr 10 min trying to reach them again. I kept the same number spoke to the same person. She had UPS pick it back up but I'm still waiting for my refund. The table was picked up on Jan 2nd.
Very bad experience!!! Will probably not order online again.
 Great Childrens Table January 5, 2009
In the first shipping order I recieved of this table I found that one of the chair pieces was damaged. I returned the set and was quickly refunded by Amazon. At the same time I also ordered another as I was impressed with the quality of the product. The next table and chair set came in perfect condition. I ordered the green and white set for my 16mo old daughter. This set is solid and made of wood! Yes, wood - not particle board. It was very easy to put together. Each chair had four pieces and six heavy duty hex screws, and the tabletop required four screws for each leg. All of the screws and adjacent holes lined up perfectly. I am 170lbs and I do not worry about sitting on these chairs with my daughter (with care of course). I am very happy with this purchase and so was my daughter!
 Solid set, maybe too solid! December 2, 2008
I bought this set for my daughter who is 23 months old. We have a small kitchen and this set fit perfectly into the corner. (BTW, Fred Meyer had this exact same set in their 2008 Christmas toy catalogue for $50 but only available in blue or pink.) Shortly after I'd assembled it, my daughter hit her head against the edge of the table. Don't know how it happened but she hit her temple and the cut was so deep my doctor recommended stitches. She did not hit the corner of the table, just one of its edges. The edge of this table and the chairs are *very square*. It's still a great table -- very solid. I'm now very careful when my daughter is around it. I'm sure as she gets older I won't need to worry as much but I thought others contemplating this purchase should be aware of any potential hazards.
Great table October 24, 2008
This is a really nice, sturdy table. My husband weighs 170 and he even sits in the chairs on occasion. It was very simple to put together. The only thing I regret about buying this is the slots in the chairs. My toddler is a very messy eater and food gets between these slots and is very hard to clean. The color is pretty true to the picture, just a little brighter green that you see online.
Fantastic Product October 2, 2008
I received this as a gift for my daughter's 2nd birthday from her grandmother and grandfather and I had to write a review about this table and chairs. The product is fantastic and very high-quality. My daughter loves it and she can use it comfortably and has room to grow with it as well. I out the whole thing together in less than 30 minutes and it includes the hex key so assembly is super-fast and easy. My daughter was so excited she sat besde me the whole time while I assembled it. She just loves it and the design is compact enough to fit anywhere. I love that it's wood. A fantastic deal. :)
