The IPod I was buying for is a Generation 4 iPod and this machine does not fit it. The description made no mention of the fact that Generation 4 would not fit the slot or be recharged. So I am bamboozled and my daughter is unhappy.

This is a lie about for 4th gen. Yes your ipod will play (if you have correct docking adapter) No! it won't charge it. Do research. This is misleading!

The main reason that I purchased this particular product was because it was pictured with the green iPod. In the picture, the face plate looked like it matched the iPod. When I received the product, I was quite disappointed that the colors were nowhere near the same. I am sending it back because the item is not as pictured.

I have had this for about 5 days now. It has everything I could ask for in an alarm clock and an iPod dock. It has a dual alarm clock, snooze button, nap feature (you can set it to nap 15 minutes or an hour), nature sounds, a radio and an iPod dock. I wish I would've gotten one sooner. This is by far the coolest alarm clock that I have owned (I've owned about 4). The dimmer (light by the time) is kind of obnoxious like the previous reviewer states, however, I have found that if I turn it off, I can get total darkness. Why do you need to see the time at like 1AM anyhow? Well, most people don't need to. So by the time it's time to wake up in the morning, there's enough light from the outside to see the time. Problem solved. I noticed that I sleep better because when I do get up to go to the bathroom at night, I can't see the time so I am not thinking about how much longer I can sleep.
If you sleep in the dark, this isn't the clock radio for you.. March 4, 2008

I was very interested in this product because it seems to integrate a lot of great features. However, the lights on the unit are too much for someone who likes it dark when sleeping. I find this to be a problem with many of the ipod clock radios - I had this same problem with the iHome system. I am still searching for my perfect ipod clock radio! Where are you??
