I bought the Mighty Bright Light for my dad who has vision problems. He had complained that restaurant lighting was too dim for him to be able to read the menu (he uses a portable magnifier). Often someone has to read it to him. This light is unobtrusive and mighty bright, as well as being compact and easy to use and the price is great. He has been able to use the magnifier ocassionally although his particular problem often requires very close magnification. But he does love his little lamp not only for it's usefulness but also for the "cool" factor. It would be nice to have a more "manly" color choice.
