For children up to age 12, the set comprises of a rectangular table and two chairs. The table not only provides ample surface space, but it also contains four cubbies in which to stow scissors, crayons, and construction paper. With a 150-pound weight capacity each, the chairs' 13-3/4-inch seat heights enable children to sit down and get up with ease. Made in Thailand, the table and chairs benefit from durable beechwood construction. A non-toxic natural finish enhances the set's appearance, while it also thwarts splinters. Cubbies on the short side of the table span 5-3/4 inches wide by 14-1/2 inches deep by 2-1/2 inches high, while the cubbies on the long side measure 11 inches wide by 9 inches deep by 2-1/2 inches high. The wood is of very good quality, and the bolts that hold the table and chairs together make them very safe pieces of furniture. I could not be happier. This is a great deal for the quality. It was also very easy to put together. I was able to do it in about 10 minutes while watching my toddler at the same time!

Bought this for my 5 yr old and I love it. Very Sturdy heavy wood. She will be able to use for a long time for homework and play. The space under the table is awesome for supplies. Wish I received free shipping but very happy! I ordered yesterday and received today! Also very easy to put together. I did it myself in under a half hour.

These are as advertised. They are semi-assembled, but the packaging is as compact as possible. Very sturdy, and just the right size. Buying them through Amazon instead of an affiliate got us free Super Saver Shipping!
