 poor company,refurbished,and bad bulbs November 10, 2008
This company sells lamps with different website,however you can tell easily.
Products look like refurbished. (new paints only,dirty at the base)
Everyone lamp comes with some defects which may not be tolerable.
Some have cracks in the lamp base plate, other have defects in the lamp kit (cannot lossen it to change bulb easily). i bought 2,sadly.
Never ever buy ANY additional halogen bulbs. They sell bulbs expensively,but ship you 1-dollar bulbs, which doesn't last long. The price are even more expensive than GE! Be cautious about the tricks!
However it is cheap compared to other company's products.

came as an open box , Out of the box this lamp looks poor and in the first day I owned this lamp, the power knob fell off, and the bulb that it comes with blew up in the second i turn on the lamp.
Realy is not fear to pay and not have the ligth correct .

Out of the box this lamp looks good and puts off a nice bright light, but in the first six days I owned this lamp, the power knob fell off, and the bulb that it comes with blew up.

I purchased this same 300 watt halogen floor lamp for $30 (shop around the $50 including shipping here is a joke) and it stands at 6 feet tall. The light has a great dimmer feature, you can put the light really dim or really bright (when you dim it the lamp begins to make a creaking noise, scary but I was assured it was normal for halogen bulbs). The lamp is very bright, easily fills my 35 by 15 living room when on the brightest. The lamp becomes very hot, and I do not mean the bulb, I mean the lamp itself gets so hot on the top area that you cannot touch it. I have googled information about halogen lamps and they have to get this hot to produce light, and it can be dangerous. Halogen bulbs also give off UV radiation, but this bulb comes with a glass plate that blocks out UV rays (I believe all halogen bulbs now manufactured must carry this). The item looks great, the picture does not justify it, I thought i would be getting a cheap crappy lamp for this price but I didn't care as long as it worked, but the build quality is great, especially at a $30 price point.

I would just like to write and say that it's an absolutely wonderful floor lamp and I recommend this lamp to anybody, not only does it have different colors but it's absolutely wonderful. To Both Companies keep up the great work, it's a wonderful product:)
