These are great cards to play with. We usually use them for occasional games with the neighbors, but I imagine they'd be just as well suited for more frequent use as well. These replace some no-name 100% plastic cards that came with my case of poker chips. Those cards became rather "sticky" and would cause a few mis-deals a night. These Kems are great for dealing, shuffling, and fanning out in your hand. I wasn't sure whether or not I should buy the bridge size or the regular size. I went with the bridge size but I think the regular size would have suited my needs a bit better.
 Last a long time but not a lifetime April 4, 2008
I purchased KEM cards 30 years ago, and believe it or not they have held up. However, they used to advertise the cards could be replaced and last a lifetime. When I called them they no longer have older patterns. Some do not like the slipperiness of these cards, but it's better than sticky. Everyone who plays with these decks says they should buy them. Also be aware that most sets only come with 2 decks, despite pictures of 4 decks in advertisements - so read carefully if you are trying to get 4 decks.
