I ordered this cd for the song "Baby Mine". It was the mother/son dance song at my son's wedding. It was exactly what I was looking for. The item came exactly as described and shipped quickly. Great seller!

Maybe it's because I've had this album in possession since I was roughly 8, but I think it's just great. But let it be clear- "Wind Beneath My Wings" is definitely NOT the best track.
Every track is great, and it's so nice to see such diversity in a soundtrack. And by the same woman in each track (minus the last one).
Bette Midler does wonders, really. She goes from '80s ballad, to '80s Boardwalk remake (and actually surpassing the original in my opinion), to blues to a pop song duet in the middle, to a sexual comedy piece, and even manages a very sad Randy Newman piece, called "I Think It's Going To Rain Today". This is my favourite track, as well as the ever-depressing "Baby Mine".
Too much to offer. Wonderful-music-overload.
I don't even like the film all that much!

If you love the movie you'll love this special edition as if the movie wasn't special enough. It has to be Gary Marshall's masterpiece. Highly Recommended but bring your box of tissues. Get ready for the fetal position!

For all people who have life time long friendships, everlasting bonds and wonderful friends, this movie is a total must.
Bette Midler, as always is fantastic both singing and acting.
Recommended as an awesome 'chic flic'.
