Great product! January 14, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this one because of having pain working with a regular mouse. I've tried them all - the cheap mouses, the expensive, the ergonomic ones. This touch pad is fantastic, very comfortable and most important - makes it easy to work for long hours with no pains. The side and top areas of the touchpad use for zooming, scrolling and back-forward buttons for internet explorer. Also, there's an area used as a right-click button which is great!
A minor thing I should point out: I was having problems installing it on IBM Thinkpad with Vista. It kept on finding new unfamiliar hardware. I think it's because of the built in touchpad. Anyhow, I bought it for my office and there on a desktop with XP it works great and installation was easy.
Other then that, highly recommended!
I love this product! October 16, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I do heavy keyboard work (sometimes 10 hours daily). The new program at work requires a pointing device for some tasks, but I really do not like a mouse--it hurts my hand and I lose keying speed when I take my hands off the keyboard. I can position the EasyCat 2 just below the space bar (similar to where it would be on a notebook computer), which means my hands stay on the keyboard! I find the EasyCat easy to use, also. It is very responsive compared to some touchpads I have used.
Love It -For disabled people- easy to install August 30, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
1)This is the only type of pointing device that I can use because of my physical disability. Really great just tap and can left click, drag, and even lift finger to reposition for more drag with computer's locking feature on. You don't need to use the included left and right buttons. 2) The right click corner and scroll arrows are really nice features, even though with my physical disability I cannot them. 3)With this product being USB is easy to install. Don't even to have to use the included software CD. And you can plug-in or remove without restarting computer. 4) Word of advice. If you have a new laptop with a flat touch mouse built in the disabled the built in one or sometimes this one will freeze up temporarily from time to time competing with built in mouse. 5) they could have more selection in colors though. And I guess wireless is coming in this type of pointing device.
Easy install and functional USB touchpad April 11, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Adesso touchpad installed very easily on both my laptop and desktop PCs running Windows XP (Pro and Home, respectively). Operating system recognized the device at once, and it worked just as advertised. Haven't used it long enough to judge durability, but it seems very well designed and highly functional.

It doesn't seem to function as well as the built in laptop touch pads.
