 Amazing fun! December 27, 2008
This was the hit of Christmas! Very sturdy, easy to assemble and nice surfaces on both sides. Big enough and strong enough for my two little artists to work on at once. I love Melissa and Doug products! Thanks!
Great toy at a great price December 27, 2008
We debated getting this for our 1 1/2 yr. old for Christmas, especially with some of the reviews that the chalkboard needed to be primed before it could be written on, but puchased anyway and it was a great investment. It is sturdy, has plenty of room to store markers and chalk, and we had no problems with chalk on the chalkboard (we have Crayola sidewalk chalk, which goes for a little over $2 at Walmart for 20 pcs in a bucket, and seems a little softer than standard chalk, plus, it's nice and thick so it holds up well). It is also pretty easy to assemble, and seems like it will last for a long time. Would definitely recommend it or buy it again (plus, no batteries or noise...something that uses nothing but imagination...Even better!)

This is a GREAT product! Not too difficult to put together and very sturdy. You dont need any tools, you are given everything needed to assemble. It's definetly worth the money and I recommend it for any little artist. My kids love it.

I recieved this easel with the accessory kit as a gift for my special needs child, who loves to draw. Before I put it together, I read the reviews and was worried about the chalkboard, as other users seemed to be having problems with it. After putting it together, (which was very easy) my daughter tried painting and using the chalkboard, and it all worked great. Using the chalk in the kit and also some other chalk we had, it writes as it should, nice and dark with little effort and easy clean up. My daughter is so happy with this, the quality is great and this is a "toy" that will be used a great deal. Couldn't be happier, no complaints.

As always, this Melissa & Doug Product is durable and thoughtfully constructed. I love that this is the kind of toy that won't lose it's luster after christmas has passed. Kids will welcome the opportunity to paint all year long.
